Yunex Traffic is a spin-off from Siemens Mobility and combines the standards and expertise of this renowned institution with the agile and innovation-driven mindset of a start-up.
With its traffic ecosystems, Yunex brings more safety and sustainability to urban traffic. We give this pioneering mission an appropriate face. We develop the strategy and positioning, write powerful messages and create a meaningful design that reflects the exciting mix of a start-up with deep roots.
SNK was an important sparring partner for us in the development of the brand and brand design. We tweaked and tinkered together - and in the end, despite the tight schedule, we achieved a result that we are more than satisfied with.VP Marketing & Communication

First step
Brand development: the foundation with strategy and positioning
Successful brands always arise from the values and ambitions of the company and therefore the people behind it. That's why we take the time to gather and involve all stakeholders. We may be the brand experts, have experience and know the market, but only the stakeholders are the experts for the company, its mission, products, services, and customers.
For Yunex in particular, we define the most important target groups and USPs and determine the brand character in contrast to the parent company Siemens in order to derive the basic positioning of the brand.
Second step
Brand design: Breathing life into the brand
"Uniting what's next in Traffic" is what the brand name Yunex Traffic stands for and the name says it all. With a soft, hopeful color palette and flowing organic gradients and a cool, futuristic logo, we set the tone for the visual communication of this forward-looking and system-critical topic.
The whole thing is enriched with a comprehensive set of visual elements such as typography, imagery, icons, illustrations, 3D renderings and the special data visuals.
Visual storytelling
In the visual language and the combined data visuals, we specifically address the topics of urban transportation and the collection and analysis of data, which are at the heart of Yunex's work.
The theme here is always the transformation of the modern city into a place that can also be sustainable and offer quality of life - all with the support of Yunex and its intelligent mobility concepts.

Third step
Brand experience: a brand you can touch and experience
When we talk about TP, we of course only mean one thing: touchpoints, i.e. all the ways in which a person actively or passively comes into contact with the brand. Of course, this includes the website, social media, brochures and trade fairs, but also work clothing and other means of communication that have an internal impact and allow all employees to jump on board the streetcar to the future.
The brand new website goes live just in time for the official spin-off. Our esteemed UX and development colleagues from schoene neue kinder took care of the implementation of the site on a TYPO3 basis. Finally, the digital marketing team contributed the appropriate content. And quite honestly – we are happy with how they implemented the brand on this important channel.
